Comprehensive Psychological Assessment Services Tailored to You

What is Psychological Assessment?

Psychological assessment is a comprehensive process designed to better understand how a person thinks, learns, feels, and functions across different areas of life. Depending on the individual and the questions being explored, an evaluation may include clinical interviews, standardized psychological and cognitive measures, questionnaires, behavioral rating scales, and information from parents, teachers, or other relevant sources.

Assessment is not one-size-fits-all. Each evaluation is tailored to the individual’s concerns and goals, providing diagnostic clarification and a deeper understanding of their unique strengths, differences, and patterns of functioning. Testing can also help identify areas where additional support may be beneficial.

What Can Psychological Assessment Help Assess?

Psychological assessment can be used to explore a wide range of developmental, cognitive, emotional, behavioral, and learning concerns, including:

  • Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

  • Learning Disabilities

  • Intellectual and Cognitive Functioning

  • Giftedness and Advanced Cognitive Abilities

  • Anxiety and Mood Concerns

  • Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

  • Trauma- and Stress-Related Concerns
